Default A couple more hummingbirds

It's been raining here almost every day. I haven't been able to shoot much, so here are a couple hummingbirds from a previous shoot a couple weeks ago One is from tonight with a break in the rain(the orange throated one). I hope you don't mind the ugly feeder in a couple of them.

They're still beautiful creatures even when they're on a feeder. Marvelous shots and I've enjoyed yet another set!

Thanks jack

The first one is the one i took tonight, and he is the hardest to get a pic of. He guards the feeder and chases everything else off.

When they land on the line, they will stay for a little while, but flying near the feeder, you have about 1/16 of a second to get a focus lock and shoot. It is really hard to get them far enough away from the feeder, that you can crop it out.

Fabulous shots! I've tried so hard to get these little guys too, but didn't do nearly as good as you did. Great focus and beautiful colors. The first one is awesome.
