Default Black and White Project

I've decided that the next 31 pictures I take will be converted to black and white. I really like the idea of creativity thriving within limitations, and I don't work with black and white nearly enough.

Here's one of my first black and white shots - it's my grandmother, deep in conversation. And looking very concerned, if I do say so myself.

Black and White - Nani

Hope you enjoy!

Your grandmother is a beautiful lady. I think her eyes look very wise and I love the B & W treatment. I think your project sounds very interesting. Can't wait to see more.

Sounds really interesting. I personally have always felt that photos of elderly people would be better done in black and white because I feel the color can distract from the character in their faces. Old people have such wonderful faces and so much feeling in their eyes

This is a lovely shot and she is a beautiful lady

Black and white is very interesting, I need to do some experimentation in this area. Great Photo!
