Hi All,

I am new to this site and new to HDR photography. This is my first attempt. I would appreciate feedback, thanks!

first thing I would do it level it,, the lighthouse looks like it is going to tip over..I also like to see the light lit when I do lighthouses,, Not real sure about how you have it named either,, thought I was going to see a headlight from a car or whatever.. DAve

I would also level it. Your horizon is at an angle and then lighthouse looks like it is tipping. I do like the colors though.
welcome and you will learn a lot!

ETA: not sure what others might think. But what about toning down the light a bit? Darken the shot a wee bit. Maybe increase the ISO? The sky seems overly bright.

This is my old haunt. Let me clear something up....It is named Portland Headlight.
And the photo is scewed...it doesn't really look like that. In fact it is a beautiful setting there...and the lighthouse is lovely.

Welcome to DPS...keep posting

Smile Thanks

Thank you for the feedback. It is my haunt, I live about 10 mins from there. A night shot would be nice, but I don't think the park is open that late. I use to take a lot of 35 mm film pictures, but it's been a while. I will pay more attention to framing next time. I had the camera on a tripod but obviously not level ground!
