i just adore greys, i have one at my pet store and she is QUITE the character! i definitely know what you mean about not just mimicking...the DEFINITELY know what they are saying!
i really love the shot, i also have a cockatiel and it is certainly very tricky to get the perfect shot because DAMN they flu FAST! |

Thanks jakethepig, what i done was pre focus (i set my lens to its closest focus point) and used a sigma 530 dg super on my gx10 aimed at the celling, i then called on her to come to me from the other side of the room and on my second attempt this is what i got.
That was iso 400 (and has been pushed around 2 stops to) wich i was really gutted at so i tried again at iso 100 (still don't know why it was iso 400 as i normally stay at iso 100) but just couldn't get as good as shot. So hard to get a nice shot and alot of luck helped to. I pushed the photo around +2ev, and the background another +1ev to make it lighter, blurred the background to reduce noise (was cream/white anyway) and did what i could with the rest to make it look better
