I love the composition. The way he's at the top right, you can tell he's swooping down. It shows lots of motion, in my opinion. Good job.

yer they can be great talkers , they don't just mimic either.. im pretty sure yoshi has been using works to tell me what she wants..

she was telling me to come to her one day, then flew down to me.. said my name, back onto the door saying come here.. and when i didnt come she few out into the hall and said.. bye bye

Yoshi likes alot of physical attention to, not something greys are known for apartly

i just adore greys, i have one at my pet store and she is QUITE the character! i definitely know what you mean about not just mimicking...the DEFINITELY know what they are saying!

i really love the shot, i also have a cockatiel and it is certainly very tricky to get the perfect shot because DAMN they flu FAST!

Thanks jakethepig, what i done was pre focus (i set my lens to its closest focus point) and used a sigma 530 dg super on my gx10 aimed at the celling, i then called on her to come to me from the other side of the room and on my second attempt this is what i got.

That was iso 400 (and has been pushed around 2 stops to) wich i was really gutted at so i tried again at iso 100 (still don't know why it was iso 400 as i normally stay at iso 100) but just couldn't get as good as shot. So hard to get a nice shot and alot of luck helped to.

I pushed the photo around +2ev, and the background another +1ev to make it lighter, blurred the background to reduce noise (was cream/white anyway) and did what i could with the rest to make it look better
