Default Proof of Life

Well, proof that I'm still alive, anyway. It didn't seem possible I could get too busy to visit DPS, but - there it is. It was a long hiatus and I really missed you all. These photos are four things I took a few minutes to record - camera-time also being scarce.

I'll answer PMs later today - it's still a catching-up day!

Back for good next week, heading for 20,000 posts - slowly.

Sir, what a brilliant set. Each one unique in its own way.

Welcome back. You were thoroughly missed.

Thank you Jiminy for posting these. Proof of life indeed. I needed a pick me up today, badly.

I've been meaning to send you a PM asking if you were OK. Shame on me for not doing so. So glad to see you back on the forum. I and a lot of other people have been missing you!

Digidave, Thanks

It's good to see you too. Doing the necessary thing can be tough, and while I've missed all of you and your work, I had to finish my own work after many months of putting it off. Now I can be here with a much clearer intention, less worry about what I should be doing, and enjoy it all more.

Thanks, newPerspective

Have I ever been "thoroughly" missed? That may be a first and I have also missed all that is DPS. Even after only a few weeks, I feel rusty in photography, and like the kid who misses just enough school that the return is shaky. Thanks for the encouraging words, and belief.

windrider86, Thanks much

This pick-me-up has no calories, is free, and has no next-morning-regrets. Glad I could bring that to your day. I'll continue that as often as I can, as you've done for me before.

fotoshooter, Thanks

My Summer has flown by and anything that I've been able to shoot has been a treat for me. I'm glad you enjoyed these - they're bringing my interest back, just as I will have more time to go scouting for new things, and good health to enjoy it all.

fstopMike, Thanks

You have to go away to be missed, and though it worked out very well for what I needed, I really missed you all too. It's always been about more than the photos, and I'm looking forward to finding out who did what, where, when and to whom. And how. I had to stop asking "Why?"

leonaashlee, Thank you

"Back in style?" That'll be a first, too! It's a little like riding a bike, this photography thing. Most of it stays with you, and I'm so glad to be almost back to my several-hours-a-day schedule for walks and photos. "Great" is a pleasant dream, and I'm working towards that. Thanks for believing.

Ella1267, Thank you

Vacations are good - returning home is better. Familiar faces and a comfortable place to sit a while. It's been too long a time away, and yet it's been such a clear indication of how much I enjoy all that is DPS. Glad you enjoy my wildlife

moi, Thanks

And welcome back, too?! Kind of refreshing, isnt it? I really want to be here, outside of any addiction to photography. It's still the better part of DPS, getting to know photographers, and their work.
