Default A perfect clear day for fotos .........

Well today it was a perfect day in the middle of winter here in Wellington, New Zealand.
I took the opportunity to go out along the southern coastline of the North Island, around the Wellington area, to capture shots. Here is my first example of what I shot.

View looking across Cook Strait to the snow capped Kaikoura ranges.

Cook Strait and the Kaikoura Ranges covered in snow

A view from the area named “Red Rocks”

And a perfectly clear sky and the moon glows

I really like the second one! It has a good foreground, subject, and good background. The simplicity of it makes it powerful.

Cheers from the middle of the Summer, here in the Middle East.
You said it, it was a perfect day for perfect pictures.
You've done well. Thanks for sharing these.
The bird is my personal favorite (difficult choice)

Stunning!!! The scenery is absolutely beautiful. Your timing with the bird capture was spot on for a fabulous shot. You are a true pro with the camera Bernz.

Very neat collection, Bernz. Each one is a winner, although the bird does have a rather dubious name! Thank you for sharing.

Wow! Beautiful series of shots. I like the second one with the grass and rock in the foreground and the shag bird is spectacular...can't choose a favorite...they're all so good.

Thanks Vakeel - yes the name Shag doesn't sound that good but that is what it is. Cheers, Bernz
