Default Maui Windward and State Flower etc.

The Windward side of Maui is quite different from the Western side, barren, with a stark beauty of it's own.
On the road from Hana.

The Hybiscus is Hawaii's State Flower.

I usually over expose roses, but I think this one turned out well. Taken on the way to Mt. Haleakala National Park.

These little Sparrows were so much fun to watch, they landed on our balcony and we fed the crumbs and laughed at their antics. Not the best picture, but I liked the colors and He was a handsome fellow.

As always, your images stand out. They are all excellent, but the last one is my favorite.. The purplish-brown on the top of the head against the purple and green bokeh in the background is something special.

Love these shots. The hibiscus is gorgeous and I love the one of the sparrow. What a great place to visit.
