My friends and I were out at my friend's cabin for a few days and while we were setting off some fireworks and bottle rockets, I captured this pretty neat shot just before it launched off. Enjoy!

I hope you used a telephoto lens.............smoke and cameras don't mix. If it gets inside, it will fog you digital sensor. Not good.

I was pretty far away from the lit fuse (a whole picnic table length...about 6ft). Also, the photo was taken no more than 1.5 seconds after the fuse was and I safely got the camera (and myself) out of the way on time. Thanks for the advice though! I will keep it in mind for next time.
