Default Hot Air Balloon Burners

Here are a few shots of the burners that heat the air to make the hot air balloons rise. I took these the other day at the Warren County Balloon Fest in NJ. The cold propane goes through the coils and is preheated by the flame from the burner before it actually feeds into the flame. Most of the balloons seem to have two burners and two propane tanks that are separate fail-safe systems:

Funny you post this as I was just watching some show on how they make these things.

Great shots - this looks so simple and shows the detail of the burners - I have had a ride in a Hot Air Balloon, Austraia, and it was a fantastic ride - so quiet and you just drift. Landing can be quite fun. Cheers, Bernz
