those are fantastic shots. Where you press or just in the stand? If that was with the 70-200 F/4, I am really excited... mine is on the way and if they come out half as good I will be thrilled

I watched Serena at Wimbledon 2 years ago, but she was hammered by Henin. Venus is without question the best lady player I have ever seen. Like Federer, when she gets to a ball, it comes out of the middle of the racquet!

Yeah...I think its because I was in the front row with a big lens. I guess she's trained herself to find the folks who can get close up and smile for them.

Ha. Good luck to me! I have been very near her on a few occasions, but I have never asked for an autograph (even on a flight back from Australia, but I had seen her get slaughtered on the court the day before, so I figured autographs were kinda out of the question). Plus she is....imposing...to say the least.

I wasn't press. I tried to shoot it for a sponsor, but they only had daytime slots and I have a day job, even if its only 1 mile away from the tournament. I bought tickets and was lucky enough to be in the front row.

I would LOVE to go to Wimbledon. Its the only slam I haven't been to. HOW did you get tickets? BTW, I also prefer Venus. But don't tell my new best friend Serena!

Like most things in life, its not what you know, its who you know!
