Default Posted sign embedded in a Tree

No post processing on this shot. I spotted this on the way to my parents one day then came back by and took a few pictures cause I thought it was unique. Enjoy.

Probably nailed to the tree, and then the tree grew around it. Same sort of thing happened in the Redwoods, with the tree gift shop.

I agree...probably nailed to the tree. After backpacking for several years I really don't go for nailing things to trees anymore. That sign must have been there for a long time.

It's looks like a hurricane force wind slammed it in there. But I know that's not true Nice shot. Like the first one the best. Nice DOF.

Well, you may actually have a point there.......It looks more like that than just nailing it in. I am throwing my lot in with your suggestion.....could have been hurricane or tornado
