Default Playing with backlighting

I put my 430EX behind the vase and fired with my wireless trigger.

Elmo got the same treatment. Makes him kinda look like Evilmo.

Both are beautiful shots. I love the soft backgrounds.

Thanks Hayward. I have not been shooting much at all lately so I decided to just shoot whatever I found around the house and learn more about my flash.

Very nice, I love the Silhouette; I just got a new flash and I think after seeing your post, I'll buy the remote IR release and perhaps another flash as well. Did you use a diffuser or just reduce the intensity on the flash?
Thanks for Sharing these

I used 1/32 power and then adjusted my ISO and shutterspeed to provide the exposure that I liked.
