Default New River Gorge Bridge (Black & White)

This is an image of the New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia. It is the longest since arch span in the Western Hemisphere and it's height is equal to the Washington Monument plus two Statues of Liberty from the river to the bottom of the arch.

The image is also a black and white conversion of an HDR image. I didn't like the original color HDR, but thought that the increased tonal range would work for a black and white image instead.

Thanks, folks. Working on this shot has peaked my interest in doing more black and white images from HDR techniques.

BWHDR? Pretty soon, we'll be speaking only in acronyms!

But seriously, BW does work quite well for this photo. And I enjoy the detail i the clouds, too.

Well done.
