Default Newbie Panoramic HDR attempt.

I am new to all this digital photography lark and discovered this site last week, it inspired me with all the great shots people seem to be getting. So after seeing some HDR shots i did some reading about what HDR actually was, learnt how to use photoshop to stitch shots together and determined to get a great HDR panorama of my own. So here it is!

This was taken a couple of days ago at Malmkopping in Sweden, it is a 2 shot panorama stitched together in Elements 7. Each shot is a 3 shot HDR taken at -2,0,+2 exposure and tonemapped in Photomatrix 3.2. It was handheld on a Sony alpha200 with the standard 18-70mm lens.

Welcome to DPS!

I like the composition - nicely balanced. It's a beautiful scene, too.

On the HDR, I haven't tried it yet, so no input from me on that.

Very nice. The great contrast from bright sky to dark shadows makes this a perfect HDR opportunity.
