Hi Ella! Wow he really dosn't look happy at all! Great composition and your focus is perfect. Love the roses as well. I just can't seem to get the exposure right on them. Oh Well it's good that you did, so I can see them anyway.

He may not be a happy bird but certainly a lovely one and the second one is so colourful, and the roses are gorgeous and nice detail. This is a lovely set of captures Angella.

Hi Angella, another set of great photos. First one looks like he's having a mad feather day. lol. I love the colours of the second one and the roses are beautiful. I warn you now, when my roses are out in flower you will see plenty of them here. I just love seeing photos of roses.

I have a ton more rose photos.....I have been very critical of my photos after seeing some of the ones everyone else gets....I appreciate people being honest....thanks.

The second bird is a lilac breasted roller - stunning bird and a reminder of the african bush.

(not to be confused with the red breasted mattress thrasher )
