Default Looking Glass Falls, NC
One of the more popular waterfalls in western NC, Looking Glass Falls is located just north of Brevard. I visited with the kids a few weeks ago.

What a lovely place and the waterfalls are gorgeous. The exposures of all these is spot on. Just beautiful Alexander.

Beautiful shots. I can almost feel the cool mist on my face.

Pisagh Forest is one of my old stomping grounds and Looking Glass is a favorite spot. In answer to the Heaterguy's comment about trout... you bet! Davison River has great fly-fishing.

Thanks guys. This is also a popular swiming and wading location in the summer. I wasn't able to get any wide angle photos as there were a lot of people in all of them. I hope to go back in the fall leaf season for a few more shots. I bet the trout fishing would be fun, also. I used to do that with my dad as a teen, but lately I just take photos of rivers and let other fish.
