Default Poor girl

A year ago I brought my first slr. My poor daughter Rebekah has been asked multiple times to pose for shots - these are 4 that I liked.

Great set of pics. The second one is my favorite. I love how the eye draws you in to the entire picture.

The first one seems a little different. Did you do any post-production on it? I think, over all, it's a really nice picture. It seems like it's over staturated... maybe?

Hopefully you can convince her to keep posing for... she makes a good model.

Thanks ressalg. The first pic has a fairly heavy cross processed effect I applied in aperture.

Nice shots, but she doesn't look very happy about them. I love the second one...she has incredible eyes.

Very good point leonaashlee - she doesn't look happy. Didn't even think about that - will have to take more of her smiling! She has had a tough couple of years and it shows.

Hello krenka, you have a beautiful daughter and presented a beautiful series of pictures.
Rebekah could have smiled more but she has an intensity about her.
The camera loves her and she she has gorgeous eyes.
You mentioned a tough couple of years for her, I hope she's through the worst of what was affecting her.
Good luck to you all and I look forward to seeing more of your portrait work in due course

Even if she doesn't look "happy", she has a presence about her that works remarkably well. She's very photogenic. I like the 3rd shot the most, for some reason, though I like them all very much. Good work!
