In all seriousness, I took some photos at birthday part for the daughter of a friend of mine. I caught some really nice shots that I thought I would share here:
I normally hate it when people say "I like the blur here because it shows motion." I feel like people say it sometimes in order to justify their bad shot. I hope I am not doing that here, as I truly do think the blur of the stick adds so much to this picture. ![]() The face painter at this party was amazing. She did some truly awe inspiring face paintings. Here is one of my favorites (Spiderman). If you check out the rest of the photostream, you will see doggies, skeletons, and several instances of the joker. ![]() Caught another great moment here. The joker can be seen here hitting minnie mouse (the pinata) with the most sinister look on his face. It kind of tells a non existant story and and for a few minutes I pondered a situation in which the joker would want to mortally wound Minnie Mouse in order to extract her candy insides. ![]() Finally, I don't know what I like about the picture so much, but it is a great shot. ![]() You can find a link to the entire photo stream below if you are interested. I did no post production whatsoever before uploading these, so some of them toward the end are a bit darkish. Jolie's 1st Birthday Party - a set on Flickr |
