Default a long way from home to here

a long way from home to here

horses at sunset

I sometimes hear the music playin' or maybe that's a notion of a dream I see, three horses dancing on the ocean
and it's a long, long way from home to here

Sunset at Trearddur Bay, Anglesey, N Wales, and the horses enjoyed their hilltop pasture

A sunset photograph with a difference. I think they call it thinking outside the box at work.. lol What a great capture and I love the sillhouetting of the horses. Great work as usual Steve.

Dave.

I like how you waited for them to all be in frame, The center horse with it's foreleg raised adds a little motion.. I love the upward angle of view and the vertical fence posts.

But what I really got from it was the high contrast and low color tones, since some of us are starting to experiment with HC, I've become much more aware and like it.. I'm not sure if it was your intention, but I love the exposure.

Of course knowing Steve, he was walking along, saw some horses, took the lense cap off and shot a photo,, all that stuff about motion and high contrast just happens when you have his amazing eye

another great addition to your album, excellent work Buddy !

Vin

Nice job beach, great lighting and you captured some nice motion in this shot. You surprised me with this one. Wasn't expecting horses. Keep up the good work buddy!

Steve, I could not find the reference. Yours? The image of three horses dancing on the ocean paired with these three horses backlit, light playing around the edges of their manes and tales plays well with that place in my brain where "all true meanings come to be". Thanks to Bruce Cockburn.

Something rural and homey about this although we never owned horses. Like the way the horses tail was caught in the wind or perhaps in motion.
