What a wonderful backround to shoot against bernz.....Is the fellow in the sailboat freezing his butt off or is it still reasonable on the North Island?

Simply great. I love looking at your photos. I can't believe the Aus. Tourist Commission isn't hiring you to do their photo layouts.

These are great shots Bernz. My mum is at MT Ruapehu at the moment and says there is heaps of snow around. She said it was minus six degrees celsius last night but beautiful weather for taking photos. I hope to go there soon myself.

Thanks Ty – it would be quite cold out there – we get a southerly wind which makes it very cold. The day I took this it was a northerly breeze and with the sun out quite pleasant, thank goodness, Cheers, Bernz

Thanks Angela – There is heaps of snow around alright – if only I had time to get close it. May go down to Christchurch and capture awesome shots down there.
