I am a firefighter, and we do a hydrocart race each year. Basically, a go cart like thing, pushed by water, like this:



Yep, that is me. They go about 25 MPH, which seems slow, until you are on one of these things!

This was my first shot, SOOC, this year:


My fire department won first AND second place!

That looks like great fun! I will have to show this to my two Firefighter cousins. I would have been afraid I might have gotten my camera wet. Great shots!

I was afraid I would get the camera wet. I took 3 pics and hid the camera. Then would start again!

Can be. Can be painful too, lol. Good thing we wear turnouts. Here is my helmet after the crash last year.
