Question DIfference between Exposure(not shutter speed) and Exposure Bias

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum as well as photography. Just bought a Canon 500D

Have a look at this photo and its meta/Exif (not mine)

We can see something like this:

Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark II
Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 135 mm
Exposure: +1.11
ISO Speed: 6400
Exposure Bias: 0 EV

I dont understand the second Exposure field:
Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500) (shutter speed)
Exposure: +1.11 (???)
Exposure Bias: 0 EV (Exposure Compensation?)

Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500) (shutter speed)- I pretty sure your correct (98%)

Exposure: +1.11 (???)- This meens the camera set exposure by +1.11 steps

Exposure Bias- is a technique for adjusting the exposure

Shutter speed. Standard EXIF data.

Exposure Compensation Adjustment done in post (rather than EV+/- selected in-camera). Non-standard EXIF data added by Lightroom and extracted by some versions of Flickr uploader.

This may help:

This is a WAG (Wild @$$ guess) but is suspect the parameter with the 1.11 value has something to do with the cameras highlight protection function. Honestly as a canon user I have never scene this parameter, but I do not use a 5d mii or highlight functions.
