well i made it, 3000 postings..wow...these are a few photos i have taken recently and thought i would share. I want to thank everyone for their kind and encouraging comments.

a slight orton effect

one for jakestar ( jake the pig)...see how famous he is now..even has his own coins

Congrats on 3000, angeleyes.

Love the pictures... the one where you played with the saturation looks especially cool. Though, every time I see Canada geese I'm reminded of just how nasty those things can be.

Those things are really nasty and I have scars to prove it....ha ha. Congratulations on your 3000th post...You are just as encouraging to everyone else...it's a pleasure to be on the same forum as you. Many more posts to come.

thankyou Leona thats so sweet of you ...i know how hard it can be to take good photos and how it helps to have some encouragement when we sometimes get down on ourselves.I have learnt so much from being on this forum and everyone has been so supportive but at the same time also pointed out when i goofed, but in a way that didnt turn me off but made me want to improve. As for the geese ive been hissed at a few times but luckily escaped their bite

I keep saying that photography should be fun so occasionally i like to play with things and see what i come up with..glad you liked it .

Lori, congrats on 3,000 and thanks for the kind comments and encouragement you've sent my way. I'm a better photographer for it. I'm also hoping you can work a deal for me to get discounts on Jakestar merchandise, though I'm sure it's going to be much harder now that he has his own money!

Thanks Mike...I really love DPS and the wonderful friends ive made...Ill be sure you get a good discount on the merchandise...i wonder what the new dps members think sometimes..they prob think we crazy lol
