Talking Found and rescued a lost dog

I went to photograph an abandoned building in Ypsilanti yesterday at work. I explored the area for awhile it's a really huge warehouse with two levels and tons of interesting things to photograph. I heard some noise in another area if the building and thought it was some homeless person so it would be a good time to escape this place. The noise kept getting closer so I started to freak out. Then this dog comes running out of nowhere scaring the heck out of me. I saw she had tags on so I took a look at them since the dog seemed pretty friendly.

I decided to stay longer, the dog kept following me around everywhere I went. I had her pose in a few spots for pictures with me before I decided to call the owners to see if they could pick her up. The owners were very excited someone found their dog. Apparently she got loose from her fenced in yard and ran off into the forest behind their house finding this building. She was not that dirty when I first saw her I think she just entered the building when I heard the noise. Needless to say after all the walking in the building I did with her she was covered in mud and nasty junk all over the place sine it rained yesterday the place had lots of flooded area's the dog liked to run through.

Wow! Good for you. I bet the dog appreciated it, too. Glad it had a happy ending. Nice pics as well.

What a cutie!

I really love the perspective in the second picture, how vibrant the colors are in #3-they just pop!, and the contrast in the last really makes you look twice! Great shots!

Your experience gives new meaning to the saying that "every picture tells a story"! Your story is exceptional as are the pictures!

It's actually graffiti on a wall vertically. I rotated the image so it appears like it's the floor. I know i'm so sly I should be punished.
