Default My new Nikkor 80-400 VR Should I keep it? Take a look...

Here are a few shot of some wildlife taken at San Diego's Wild Animal Park. I'd appreciate any comments. Thanks very much.

Why would you not keep it? You have a couple nice shots there. The flamingo & frog especially.

I think with some getting to know the lens you are going to enjoy it very much.

No, I think you should just pack it up and mail it to me. =)

These are awesome shots. The colors and detail are amazing. I was thinking of either getting this lens, or the 70-300 vr next year with my bonus. Thank you for making up my mind.

Default I'll keep it...it was rhetorical! :)

The 80-400 is an awesome lens. It was kind of a rhetorical question. Especially with the VR feature. It's not as fast as the 400 2.8, but for a fraction, you can still get in close with awesome results!

The flamingo is just as it came out of my camera. The eye was incredible...almost glowing. There was no fill flash either!

Sure. Not problem. The lens is free. Just pay $1600.00 for shipping and handling and it's yours!!

Actually, for what this lens is capable of at 400mm, it's waaaaaay underpriced!
