Default a bandit a robin and a bunny

feeling a little better from the cold and went outside with my dog after dinner , just sat in the yard with the camera , took a few shots.. decided to play with them in post.

800mm shot .. just practicing focus, I still mess up shutting clicking at that range, so I was just working on it ,
IMG_5444
it's not easy to be consistent, and I really wanna get it down in the yard and not out in the middle of the woods when I have a few seconds to catch the shot.

another long shot , looking again at him, he's a little over cooked in the post process oven !

IMG_5453
oh well little guy, see you tomorrow and I'll give ya a nice old fashion grainey film spetia heh

MY Little buddy ! in High Contrast, I thought it might be cool to see his black fur and dark features cranked up .. I kinda like it, but then again, I've been on cold meds and might not appreciate the finer points of this photo in a few days !

IMG_5439
he actually just laid there and let me click away .. I didn;t notice the grey line thru his ears till later , oh well , he's a free model !

thanks for taking a look

Vin

The longer and harder I practice, the luckier I become.

I couldn't agree more Vin, get it right now, you'll not have to think too much about it when the ................................... (fill in details of the target) comes into view

The first two pictures are good buddy, taken at 800mm - monster range - and not easy to control. And then we meet gnasher again, Bandit's looking well.

Glad you're feeling better, the condition will improve in direct proportion to the/ your satisfaction levels of your pictures.

take care

Vin, glad to see you are feeling better! I'm hoping that new lens becomes second nature soon. Looking forward to a new range and depth of shots from you when you make it back to the reserve.

The rabbit and the robin are great photos Vin, but I give todays prize to Bandit. That is one lovely portrait and I love the high contrast..One for the wall for sure.

Dave.

Good to hear that you are feeling better. Summer colds are the pits, however if you are having the summer we are, then it's more of a fall cold. sigh

I really like the shot of your dog and the treatment on it. Makes it stand out and shows off the look on his face! The other two are great for learning with the new lens that has a using curve!
