Default Pimped Out Rides

I recently had to make a short business trip to Karachi. The visit was intensely busy, so I didn't get an opportunity to do any site seeing. However, I captured some shots while riding from the hotel to the client's office, and all I can say is that folks here love to embelish their rides, whether quadruped or quadruwheeled!

Thanks for looking.

Wow great shots. It looks like they put a lot of work into decorating their vehicles. Thanks for sharing an interesting looking place with us.

Yeah Leona, talk about bling. Now that I think back, there were many other interesting things I could have taken pictures of, but when work is on my mind I can't think photography.

Thank you for the compliment, Angelb. Did you know that many of these blinged out mini buses run on Compressed Natural Gas? I was very surprised to learn that.

That puts a new meaning of "pimped up"...nothing like what pimped up here in the states...

Thanks for your appreciation, ressalg. It's a loud culture, and colorful patterns seem to be the norm there. Glad you enjoyed the shots.

Perhaps Xibit and West Coast Customs should come out here and do a show, and teach them a little bit about understated elegance. Thanks for looking.
