Default Morning with my pack

Too hot to work dogs and sheep these days, but I have to get them out (cabin fever and all) the temps here have been over 100 everyday for the last two months ;-( So we go out early morning and go for a romp.

Mike and Stella, overlooking the hill.

Mike the poser

I got a kick out of this one, looks like Mike has angel wings ;-)

And this is what Liz thinks of this Texas heat

Beautiful dogs. Love the second pic the most. I know about needing to get them out of the house as I have herding breed as well. If you don't get them out enough you won't have a house left. BTW where is La Vernia (I'm in Houston)?

Thank you, I like that one too ;-) Mikey isn't much on sheep, but he is handsome ;-)

La Vernia is just SE of San Antonio. We're about 3 hours from Houston. Are you as dry and hot as we are?

No. We are hot and HUMID. I need to bring my shelties to you and introduce them to sheep. They'd probably run the other way.. LOL

They look soooo happy (and hot, too, of course). I've never been around border collies, but I've heard that they are smart as can be and great friends.

Must be fun to have 6!

Nice photos.

Thanks Shirley, we are humid here too ;-( blech, I hate it. You can bring your dogs over if you like, LOL when it cools off! We acutally have a big sheepdog trial at the rodeo in Houston every year, maybe next time you can come watch, hey! bring your camera and you can take pics of me and the dogs! ;-)

Yep, Chip, Border Collies are the best ;-) very smart (too smart sometimes) and just very fun to hang with. plus they're great photo subjects ;-)
