Really exciting stuff.
We had one like this back in 2006. I did a thread on that not long ago, here.
I think both shots are nice and the second (although a bit fuzzy) has a lot of potential. I find the shape of the bird very interesting.
Did you notice how they all shut up during the eclipse. The silence in the skies is spooky and the sencond shot caputured that feeling for me.
