Default IndyCar at the Glen: Panning

So I went to the Indy race at Watkins glen a few weekends ago and I've been a little lazy about getting a post up here about it. I wasn't able to secure a photographers pass which is my ultimate goal, but my shots improved substantially from last year. I went to many more locations on the 3.2 mile track and found some really great places to shoot through that scouting. I really worked hard on the panning, and I think I found a pretty good shutter speed for most of the shots. My panning skill has increased substantially from last year, and I think it makes the difference in motorsport photography. Here are the results.
