i had a great afternoon with the black background and this little girl! (my wifes friends daughter)
she has a reputation for not smiling, not when i'm behind the camera girly!
no kid can resist a giggle from a "peek-a boo"

she was a dream, she stood still the entire time and hardly complained at all.

The Al Capone kid is my son.

These are soooo good! I love the one of the little girl with the doll on the floor, and the mini capone is also pretty cute. Actually, thay are ALL priceless! Reflector and one strobe?

REALLY nice, Jared! The little girl is adorable, and I just cracked up over the one of your son...too cute! The lighting is amazing in all of these, but I especially like it in the one of your son - his face is just glowing and I can make out the outline of the hat against the background. Great stuff, my friend!

Thanks!, I usedto look (and so did my dad) exactly like this as a kid. Same hair.. and he even has my grumpiness.

Me too!, the doll on the floor pic is one of my favs too,
Two strobes in umbrellas and a large white wall to the left that acted as a reflector,.
I tried gold reflectors and umbrellas, but I just liked the clean white “pure” look instead
