Default The Two Doors...

This is the entrance door to the Maintenance area for the Keeper Of The Plains Statue. Great pains were taken to follow a theme with in the entire architecture of the site.

Someone suggested I try the door image in black and white. First we have the image as I originally captured it, with a little PP.

And here is the B&W image.

Thanks for dropping by.

This a lovely old door Tom, not sure which version I prefer. Both of them are excellent and bring out the lovely textures of both stone and wood. Had to choose but I love them mate.

Dave.

Thanks Dave. The coolest thing about that door, it's only about six years old.

Both are nice in composition but the first one is better in detail, I think.

Both are nice but I prefer the colour. The little splash of red really looks inviting and the colour of the door against the grey rock really makes it stand out.

I have to confess, the splash of red was my PP. Glad you liked it. Of course, it will look like that in a few months.

Nicely captured Tom. I favour the coloured version but either would look good framed and on the wall
