Default Portraits?

Well, these don't technically fall under the tag portraits really. This is a snap I took at a recent picnic with my radio club. As you can see two very different treatments. The cowboy is my friend Dave whom I posted a photo of this weekend. The girl is the daughter of a very dear friend. Dave is teaching her how to spin a rope. Pretty cool, eh? I hope you enjoy them...

Thanks for looking!

Well done Fred. nicely captured between what looks like the leaves of of a tree or a bush.
I prefer the colour version as it fits more with the little girls bathing suit.
Dress her in jeans and shirt, then the sepia effect would have been perfect. Nice job buddy

Thanks very much beach. I see what you mean about the swimsuit. It is rather brightly colored in places.
