Default Some More Fireworks

Well, there was another fireworks show last night, and I went to photograph it. I got all set up and waited for the show to start.

The show started, and that's when things went wrong. Haha. For some reason, my remote shutter was malfunctioning. At least, that's what I think was the problem. I had my shutter set on the bulb setting, but every time I went to press the remote shutter and hold it, it reacted like I just quickly pressed and released it. It was the strangest thing. Sometimes it would work the way it should, and most of the time it wouldn't. I think I'm going to have to invest in a better remote shutter. I just hope it's not my camera or the port for the remote shutter.

Plus, there wasn't much wind last night to carry the smoke away quickly, so I struggled with that as well.

Anyway, I was a little less than satisfied with last night's experience. But, I was able to catch some shots that turned out all right. I'm definitely not as happy with them as I am with my previous fireworks shoot, which, ironically, was my very first one. Oh well. Here are some shots:

As always, there are more on my Flickr, and I hope you enjoy them!

Nice shots in spite of all the trouble. Just think what you can do when things work right.

Thanks for the comments and compliments, everyone.

MissCupcake, the third one I posted is my favorite as well - not just of the three here, but of the whole set.
