Default Snake and fawn

These are a couple from today's wildlife search. While looking for deer saw the snake laying at the edge of the road. Take from the car about 10ft from the snake with a 300 F\4+1.4 TC.

Nice clear shot of the snake and the DOF puts the subject right in the center of sharpness for extra emphasis. Beautiful fawn shot.

Thanks Mike appreciate the kind comments. I took these after micro adjusting the lens setup to my 50D as prior to it had been front focusing pretty badly.
