Bay's Mtn Park; Kingsport, TN
So Fun Fest was this past week in Kingsport. Apparently you can get into Bay;s Mountain Park for free that week. So,..I went tromping around. I used to volunteer there with the raptor program,...( raptors are birds of prey,.. not the dinosaurs) For years I worked there and never knew of this waterfall. Still can't believe my lil P&S captured this this way. SO glad it did tho.

wow, those turned out great, especially for a P&S. I especially like the last one. Very beautiful.

Thnx guys,..I'm so glad that I spent the gas to drive up there that day.
If you were going to enter a photo into a county fair contest, would you choose one of the waterfall pics to enter?

Hey there!! I grew up in Kingsport, and was up there for Funfest this year! Where in the park are the 3 waterfalls that aren't the big one? I didn't realize they had other ones up there.

These are fantastic waterfall shots. Man, if you can do work like this with a P&S, I can't wait to see what you can do with a DSLR. I like #2 the best, with the monochromatic moss tinge. Great job, and thanks for sharing.

Beautiful shots. You did amazingly well. Get that car paid for and sock away a couple of payments and get that DSLR you've been wanting! I have a feeling you can do very well with it.
