Default Nikki Sue Nikon & The Raven Pt II - The Still Waters

Softly floating through the hills
Soothing solace for the ears
Comes the call of The Raven
Find the secret of my tears

The Rhododendron points the way
Says legend of days gone by
When the shoals of Dodd start laughing
The secret is surely nigh

The Hemlocks high above
Rhododendron down below
Seek the tears of The Raven
and the secret of the flow

Round the bend and cross the roots
The pixies spread their blooms
A trail blazed with Rhododendron
Where the quiet water looms

Find your peace and rest your soul
In waters lying still
For soon The Raven comes
and with him turmoil will

The Hemlocks high above
Rhododendron down below
Seek the tears of The Raven
and the secret of the flow

Mike, can I cast my fly out there in that nice looking pool? Beautiful shots buddy. I just love the forest you photograph.

I would fave the first and third one. The first for the roots as mentioned and the third for the lovely reflection. The settings of all are just wonderful. Always love the stories to go with.

I thought the roots added that mysterious deep forest feel, like there was something out there lurking
