Update on my first portrait shoot and a thank you
Okay, so many of you saw the photos on my 1,000th post...today I sent some into the local store to have printed just to hang on my wall. When I got there, they weren't going to give them to me until I got permission from the photographer as they would be copyrighted. I was shocked, but really happy to hear they thought they were professional. Not only that...but I got my first job out of it. The clerks daughter is having a baby soon and wants me to take photos of the baby afterwards.
So, I want once again to thank you all for your help along the way....giving me the courage to even try it once. I had almost resigned myself to taking flower shots the rest of my life. This site has helped me more than you will ever know...thanks to you all.

Congratulations Leona and how exciting..i also went to have a photo enlarged and they thought it was a postcard and werent going to enlarge it...i told them its MY photo...as you said im glad they protect our work.
The first job is always the most nervous but i know you will do great..cant wait to see some pics from it  Lori |

Congrats! I think that is really a cool compliment. Way to go! I see we have another Mother daughter set here on DPS! My mom and I are on here together as well. I love sharing this passion with my Mom we have so much fun as I am sure you two do also! Really wonderful!
