Beautiful! How long was this exposure? Very nice Perspective.
I've been to Joshua tree national forest many times when I was living in Calif and Arizona. Lovely place to take pictures.
Thanks for Sharing this

I hate to ask technical questions but the shot begs it! It is really awesome......I understand the star streaks.....didn't realize that it would take that long for it to streak that much....what got my attention is the fact the shot looks athough it were taken at twilight. How much light was there and what was the source of it? What time was the shot taken?

I love this place. The desert is so quiet and at night the stars fill the sky. Your photo is wall hanging good! Just absolutely beautiful.

Patrick,

There is a weak campfire on the right side near the tent in photos. Since it is a long exposure, the campfire add some detail of the foreground. I don't have original photo handy so I can only tell you the photo was taken at around 10:00pm. Hope this will help.
