Default King of Kings

My dad has a glass chess set and the other day I decided that I might be able to get a few good shots.

With a spotlight effect

Thanks for looking, I'm always open to constructive criticism!

I like the lighting on the first and the reflection on the second. I especially like the glow in the reflection of the second one. I'm wondering what the third might look like in black & white. Well done!

thanks Mike. my lighting was nothing special (for details see below). I'll put one in black and white and then post it later today.

My lighting is nothing special. i have an enclosed 3season porch where the chess set is located. the light would be coming from behind the camera. When i put it on the editing software, there was too much space around the piece, so i put in a spotlight effect to kinda focus attention on the King. Oh, and the flash was off.
