Default Rings of Light

I was looking at Mollman's thread, http://digital-photography-school.co...47-straws.html and it made me think of some pictures I took for the f/16 assignment. Unfortunately, I was working down to the wire on the assignment and when I was finally ready to post, it was too late.

In case you couldn't tell, I used a package of the chemical light bracelets... they were only $1.50 per package... what did I have to lose.

Thanks for looking.

creative! i like it. if only the bracelets didn't have the air pocket things in them that breaks up the neon color. but there's nothing you could do about that. very nice pictures!

I had thought about trying to fill them in Photoshop but once I realized I was too late for the assignment I just left them as is. Seemed like a lot of extra work for nothing.

Thanks... you've just made me think it might be worthwhile doing some extra work on them.

LOL I didn't actually plan it that way... I just kind of started with purple 'cause it's one of my favorite colours. But now that you mention it, I think I did end up putting them in the proper spectrum order. Might have been the amateur astronomer coming out in me.
