Default 2000th Post!! Let's celebrate at a carnival...c'mon, let's go!

Come on let's jump on a thrill ride and spin ourselves a work of art! My 19 yr old son and I decided to drop in at the Fair which started tonight...We went with the purpose to shoot pictures not ride the rides.....my son played with some of the long exposures and moving the camera at the same time to see what effects he could generate....some of those results will post on Lindy's abstract thread tomorrow....so stay tuned! I have much enjoyed my time here and appreciate all of the warm friendships near and far and I hope to expand my boundaries a little bit this year.....I vowed to not post a flower for this post!! I hope you all enjoy these and don't get too dizzy.

First: 2000 posts?!? Wow! You'd think you never went out to take pictures.

Second: I hate to tell you, but that third one kind of reminds me of a flower. But it's not, so I think you've still lived up to your "no flower" promise.

Third: Great shots... makes me wish I'd tried this at our fair. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for the rest.

Congrats Pat from Alaska, and what a better place to celebrate than a fair. Ride the rides and enjoy the fair food in the company of family. How GREAT!! I look forward to seeing all you have to offer in the future.

Also congrats from NZ. I love the clouds as a backdrop in the first one it's like the ride is reaching for the sky,and I love the rest. Thanks for all your shared shots and comments over the months.
