Default Nikki Sue Nikon & The Raven Pt I -Follow the Rhododendron

Softly floating through the hills
Soothing solace for the ears
Comes the call of The Raven
Find the secret of my tears

The Rhododendron points the way
Says legend of days gone by
When the shoals of Dodd start laughing
The secret is surely nigh

The Hemlocks high above
Rhododendron down below
Seek the tears of The Raven
and the secret of the flow

Part I -- The Rhododendron

Oh, Mike...I just have four words for you:

"Can I Go There?"

Seriously, I just sat and gazed at each one. So peaceful, so beautiful. After the day I've had, this was a welcome escape. Probably some of my favorites from you!

beautiful shots Mike and very very peaceful feeling especially in the last shot. With all of the blooms on the forest floor, it looks as though an enchanted wedding took place there....

One word: Superfantastico! (and a made up one, too)

That last one is definately the money shot. Very peaceful.

And very interesting poem... can we expect some Raven shots after the Still Waters, perhaps? *hope, hope, hint, hint*

As we all do! A virtual getaway is better than no getaway at all!

Thanks for looking. The Rhododendron is one of my favorite plants and it's a bonus when they shed blossoms on the forest floor. It's not something you see every day

Thanks! I'm sure Nikki Sue finds The Raven in the end....but you have to pass the laughing waters first!

In the North GA Mountains in White County. I'll tell you more if Nikki Sue can find The Raven.
