Default Photos from work

Hi All,

Just joined and would like to share some shots I have got over the last few days. I have just bought a samsung WB500 so wanted to play around with it. I hope this camera will allow me to learn a few basics about the art of photography. So here goes and by the way, all are auto shots:

Newton Rigg Garden

The Fly

Dual Outlet

Night Girder

I hope you enjoyed those shots? The last one is in fact a green girder with an orange light shining from the opposite building . It's one of my favourites due to the contrast with the dark background. Also, like all my photos, the only editing done is a bit of cropping.

BW skyshot is interesting. Some heavy sharpening with PS would make it quite more interesting. Welcome here!

Thanks for the kind words everyone, at least I know I'm heading in the right direction.

Michael, I've been messing with manual settings and will put these photos up at a later date. Just need to get instruction manual and read up a little more on things like.....well everything!
