Spent a couple of days in S.F. shooting a lot of pictures. Here is an eclectic sampling:

Woman on a busy sidewalk in Chinatown, eating out of a pot:

Chinatown Worker Breaks for Lunch

Sunset at the Marina

Boats Birds on the Bay

A seagull stand guard:

Seagull Sentry

A member of the Mickey Mouse Club:

Thanks for looking!

Absolutely fantastic series! I love every one of them. Great title, too...I knew I was in for a treat when I read it! Thanks for sharing these.

I especially love the 3rd shot....the first looks like something National Geographic would put in their magazine if Chinatown was their subject

Very nice! Especially 2 and 3. And 1! I like shots of people - I just haven't the confidence to do it myself yet!

The colors in the portrait are very powerful, and the image is very sharp.

Thanks, everyone. The portrait was taken when I was in the distance with my 75-300. I also want to take more people, but don't want them to see me and get mad. I only wish there was something about that shot that said, "Chinatown!" I have another from further away that shows that she is on the sidewalk on a stool in Chinatown, but I like the detail and features of the face in this one.

Thanks!

I agree the close up detail of the woman is fantastic. Would be lost from farther away! I love the line of the gulls in the sunset. That was cool timing. I love the perched gull, he posed for you! The last one cracked me up! Why bother with the pants at all. I know we see a lot of this here but this guy is extreme. Too funny! Thanks Eric!

I agree, your lady in chinatown needs to be this close to get her facial features. Love the marina picture, and the last one....well, I never expected to get mooned on DPS, but this comes awfully close!
