Gone fishing
On my journey to Cuchara Co. the other morning, I saw this fisherman in the lake. The scene was so calming and beautiful. BUT, I was a good 1/4 mile away and my lens just couldnt get a crisp shot so far away. So, i figured I'd try and make it look like a painting and hope I retained that feeling.

It looks very much like a painting. I especially like what you did with the fisherman. Beautiful.
So, now do you "need" a really long prime or zoom lens? Something in the 500mm range, and maybe a TC, too?

very interesting feel, reminded me of " Bob Ross " a little bit ( the trees really look like something he would have painted ) ..and I like the way the fisherman and boat became just an outline.. really neat Idea and a great save !
