Default Today was bleak and gray..

So I thought I would put some colour into it..

colour-4

colour-3

Rainbow drops

colour-1-1

However, today the demolition duo were at home, and that was doing nothing for the clarity of my pictures, and led to this.....

colour-2

No, not drinking, playing in photo shop.
Thanks for looking, feel free to leave a remark.

I love these. I really love the vivid colors in the first two. Very, very cool stuff. I love the water drops, I have yet to try this. Yours are great! I think the last one is very neat. It took me a minute to figure out what was going on. It looks like the glass in melting. It was over 100 degrees here today, felt like I was melting. I like it! Great set.

These look great. Love any shot with droplets forming off of another object. The colours in the first two look amazing.

Good job.

Michele, you really ought to head over to Lindy's abstract thread and post these there too. They would fit fit perfectly. As for the first couple of shots...what in the world am I looking at?????

In the fourth one did you use the liquify tool in PS? I love the Rainbow Drops.

Thanks Michelle, while you were sweltering in the heat I was having troubles with the oil in the first two pictures going all gooey on me because it was too cold.

Thanks Matt, I've been meaning to give this a go for a while, and I am happy with the outcome but it's not as good as I had hoped for. When I get another chance I will try again.

Dayton I was just playing wondering what it would look like if I poured honey into a glass, pretty ordinary, but I kept some of the pictures and started playing with them in photo shop and this is what I came up with.

Vegetable oil in water, in a clear glass baking tray, raised up over a colourful piece of material.

Nothing like a bit of bright colour.

Yes I did, I have only just discovered it,but I have been trying different things, you end up with some amazing outcomes. If I were more into graphic art I think it would be very handy.
