Default Nikki Sue Nikon hears a whisper...

Nikki Sue Nikon and the wife and I spent some time at Unicoi State park this last weekend. We had a great time exploring.

We happened upon a deer. Nikki Sue was dressed in her 17-70mm zoom and left her 70-300 at the cabin. Go figure! At least the deer let us get fairly close:

While we were looking at this tree, I heard, or maybe it was just a feeling, a stirring of some sort....

Tenacity

We found these daisies and just as I was about to open the shutter, Nikki let out a small sigh..."Did you hear that, Nikki Sue?", I asked.

Thinking we were imagining things, we went on to snap a shot of the lake in the early morning sun....

Then we both heard it, faintly, just a whisper, but unmistakable, rolling off the mountains behind us and echoing off the water...."Seek the Raven....Seek the Raven"

Coming soon...Nikki Sue Nikon seeks the Raven!

And Nikki Sue had a field day!

Mike...the one of the deer...did you charge her a sitting fee? And the last one took my breath away.

Lovely, my friend. Simply lovely.

Very pretty Mike......Looks like Georgia to me...I suspect the northeast corner? It's pretty flat headed to the coast east or south......Looks like you are having a great vacation....does your wife shoot any or is it just you?

I realy like the last one, but I have to admit this time, that the way you talk about your camera is a little weird.

So....now you and Nikki-sue are hearing things!!!!!
I love the photos, beautiful place. I think in that first one the deer might be telling you and Nikki-sue where to go. The last photo is spectacular not a ripple in the water, and the clouds rolling back, pity there wasn't a ray of sunshine in there.
