Default Excuse my wrinkled shirt (Self Portrait)

This is my new promo pic for my music project. Get my EP off iTunes 7/21 [/end shameless self promotion]

It was taken in my bedroom. I just made the highlights brighter which made the wall almost 100% white. Then I used the dodge tool in Photoshop to make the wall brighter in the areas that weren't completely white.

The lighting is just a lamp pointing to the left side of my face, and the window was open to let in some natural light. I took it in RAW so I was able to compensate the terrible lighting with some quick editing.

I know it could be better, but I'm pretty happy with it nonetheless, especially since I don't have any expensive gear. All I have is amateur photoshop skills.

ps. I was going to post this in "How I Took It" but I feel I was too brief. If any mods think this is actually somewhat useful then feel free to move it there.

That's a pretty good shot...pretty clever...you obviously have more PP experience than I do.

I quite like this for a reason I can't quite put my finger on...I think its the starkness of the wall, so nice job with the editing!
