Default Mimosa Plant (Fucshia)

Here are two photos of a mimosa plant I took a few months back.

Mimosa Plant 2

Mimosa Plant 1

I know this second one is cluttered, but I couldn't figure out any other way to get all phases of it's life cycle in one shot (without cutting the plants, which would've mightily ticked off the folks in charge at the nature preserve where these photos were taken).

Thanks for looking.

Nice post Chip! These are interesting plants and the blooms look like fireworks or fiber optics.
Thanks for Sharing these
Michael.

Nice job Chip focus color dof spot on...I like the second one as well it looks like all the fazes are reaching for light or being bent to the right by some force.

Ty - Good point. I don't know why they're leaning like that. It couldn't be camera tilt. Could it?

love the shots! I suggest shooting up on them to avoid the clutter in the background as you said
